my magazine

dice, gkm, ... you know, there are a few mags i keep an eye out for

but its the horse that ive been faithfully reading
they got me into this whole thing

without the horse, i would have never known that there were doods out there with the same taste in bikes as me (cuz there aint NNOO scene here in solano co. where i live)
and for years ive been crossing paths with kewel katz without ever seeing them

if i DID ever see a sic scoot, it was gone before i could turn around and catch it

ANYWAYZ! i love the horse
but its been kinda dull for a while
"a while" means this whole year
bikes have been just "same-same"

but im loyal
after all, it aint the horse's fault there aint been much to shoot and show
and this was a pretty kewel year for shows and rides, and stuff
cant complain cuz ive been hanging out with a TON of great guys (and gals) on some really baddass bikes

grabbed #113 because its what i do

its muscle memory at this point

see a new horse, get the new horse

im glad to say

loyalty pays

the #114 is out (havent seen it yet), but #113 is pretty darn tight!
i was reminded why i first started collecting it in the first place

imagination is back on the scene
doods are doing kewel stuff again
katz are thinking out side the box
and the horse is showing it

i really like that magazine man

and george the painter is a baddass

swangarm swagger

what makes a scoot kewel?

i love'm "tight"
close hand grips
mid controls (or pegs)

wide rear tires aint for me
(not to say it aint cool on YOUR bike)

i like little spools and lathed forks

less is more
the smaller the better

all go no show

if it dont make it go or stop i dont want it

but at what point does kewel stop being cool?

am i kewel cuz i dont have a mirror?
is it sic to roll with no signals?

maybe, but im about to change all that

im working on some signals and a mirror that are functional yet un-lame
not cuz the man says so
but because im a man and I say so

how rad is a blue curb placard?
how sic is it to bunk with the sick?
how dope is it to NEED meds for no reason other than i just didnt want to be able to see behind me while waiting for the green light?

i like being able to swallow without assistance
i dont wanna have to poop in a bag taped to my hip

can you spend too much on a helmet?

i love motorcycles

i wanna love them for a long time

swangarm swagger

"swangarm swagger"!
nevermind the fagged out bike in the middle, just look at the two cool ones
seriously though ...
i had the best time rolling through SF with JB
and it was trumped by the only thing that could trump it ...
rolling with JB and Uncle Jorge
(well i think it would have been baddass if Big D was there too, now that i think about it)

stolen video

49 mile ride 2011

totally gets the credit for this video
i took one on my phone but it sucks
this one is not as long but it's clear at least
i dont mind stealing this one cuz im in it

(im the black guy at 0:49)

it was pretty cool
i had a blast

maybe next year i will actually go on the ride

this year, i rolled out with JB to redwood city to let Spade George make sure i felt like fecal matter cuz my bike sucks

i'll probably skip the ride and suffer George's crap next year too, now that i think about it

!!!!please support OLD-STF!!!!

(i know its in color ... but it gets a pass for being orange)
the folks down here are second to none
its not just another bike shop but its a family affair

these people really are "'the salt of the earth"

AANNDD the work that comes outta the shop can never be contested
fabrication
imagination
and solid mechanics

spent the greater part of the afternoon this last saturday down there with my old lady
and even she had a blast
(the fact that she got to shop a little through the tees and sweatshirts didnt hurt any either)

thanks guys for being such a big part of a baddass weekend!

2 wheels > 4

harley guys are all slow
harleys are for old men
im too young for a harley, mabey when i have grand kids

street bike guys are fags
street bikes suck, you customize them with stickers
street bikes are for riding on your wrists

....!!!!???? ....

why does it matter so much?

two wheels are greater than four, as far as im concerned.

ive had metric cruisers, a dual sport, and a couple harleys
never had a SPORT bike (cuz all of the bikes listed here are "street bikes"), not for any reason other than i have never been in a position to buy one.
i would totally buy a sport bike, may not ever be my main roller, but i would own one

i prefer garage builds cuz the have soul, and a personality

i like being in tune with my bike and listening to it when its actually saying something

you dont get that on other scoots, but at the end of the day, id rather roll a sport bike than ride in a cage

two wheels, one love
